While many of us desire a home theater, there is no space to accommodate even a couple of speakers, and the cost of a large audio system is far beyond the budget. However, it does not mean that you should despair and give up the dream of great sound – soundbars will do the trick. Compact, convenient and able to provide much better sound than the built-in TV speakers. SVEN SB-2035 is a vivid confirmation of this fact.

The body of the soundbar is extremely compact – just 610×54×102 mm, but it contains 78×40 mm speakers – much larger than in the vast majority of TVs. They ensure high-quality sound in a wide range from 80 to 20,000 Hz, and you won't have any problems with sound quality either, as the total power of the system makes up an impressive 40 W RMS. Three presets of the built-in equalizer allow you to adapt the sound to the content you're playing: movies, music, or newscasts where the main emphasis should be on the announcer's voice.

The soundbar can be mounted on a TV stand or on the wall – there are special mounts for this purpose. The list of options for connecting sound sources is amazingly diverse, which is not typical for budget devices. The HDMI input with support for reverse audio channel (ARC) can be considered as the most important one – it is the most convenient way to connect SVEN SB-2035 to a TV set.

However, that's not the only thing: there's also a digital optical input, analog Aux and even Bluetooth wireless connection, so you can connect almost any sound source, from a game console to a smartphone, to the soundbar. You don't need any other devices to listen to your favorite music – just plug a storage device with audio files into the USB socket on the rear panel and use the built-in player.

The set comes with its own remote control, but due to HDMI CEC support, you can also control the volume and turn on the soundbar with the TV remote – usually it is much more convenient. You can also change basic settings using a small panel in the end of the case.
