SVEN Aggressor Joystick

Description

SVEN Company presents SVEN Aggressor gaming joystick, which will be appreciated by numerous gamers of flight and space simulator games.

SVEN Aggressor has everything required to control an aircraft both a civil and military purpose. The handle of the joystick has three main rotation axes: forward-backward, left-right, and around its axis. In order to avoid shots and rockets of the enemy, you needn’t use additional keyboard keys, as you can conduct a battle with four attack buttons, a trigger for high-speed shooting and a mini-joystick responsible for targeting. The model has a vibration function enhancing realistic effect.

The joystick is calibrated manually. Turning on/off of the afterburning, control of engine thrust, flap, landing gear and propeller pitch, shooting from all types of weapons – all these functions can be programmed with twelve buttons, six of which are located on the base of the game controller and the other six – on its handle. Select the most popular options, which you use in the game, define the corresponding buttons for them in order they are always ready to your hand and enjoy the game without wasting your time on unnecessary actions during the battle. Another pleasant surprise from the developers is a possibility of horizontal adjustment of the plane or helicopter engine thrust. The option enables the aircraft to gain or lose height in the game. In comparison with its vertical analogue, such a solution makes engine operation control smoother. The controller is located handily, it has been shifted to the left of the handle just for several centimeters. So, you can change its position while keeping your hand on the buttons during the game.

The joystick is connected to a PC via USB interface. SVEN Aggressor is compatible with Windows XP/Vista 7/8 and can operate without installation of drivers.

Tests and reviews

After trying this model, someone might want to buy a joystick for hundreds of dollars or a cool device, not resistor-, but Hall-effect-based, with a pedal unit and a draft control lever. But this will be a completely different story. Though, if you have some $20, and your aim is to try playing with a joystick, this model is a perfect choice. See for yourselves: the shape is comfortable, the device is functional, all the necessary controllers are available, as well as twist, draft and viewing angle switch. It’s a rarity. In general, this turned out to be a decent device, surely deserving a positive estimate.

SVEN Aggressor will cost you around 25 dollars. For this money, you’ll get a joystick featuring all the basic options. Sure, it’s simply made, but the assembly and operation are excellent. It’s an ideal choice for those who are in doubt if they want to join flight sim fans.
